About Hollywood FL
Hollywood Florida is a city in Broward County, Florida, United States. According to the U.S. Census Bureaus 2010 data, Hollywood has a population of 14,049. The city is nicknamed "Holly-wood" by locals because it has served as the home base for several major motion pictures and television shows. It was officially incorporated on April 23, 1903 with 1,000 residents and is located just to the north of the Miami-Dade County border.
First known as "Wetumka", or "The Lake" in Seminole language, Hollywood began as a community within Dade County with a population of fewer than 100 people around 1884. The first settlers lacked legal title to their land and lived at what is today called ''''Ince's Hammock'''. In 1896 Henry Flagler extended his Florida East Coast Railway south from West Palm Beach to Miami and then on to Key West and Jacksonville along what came to be known as the Flagler System. This could be said to be the beginning of Hollywood since its founding was inspired by Henry Flagler's railroad which spurred much interest in nearby areas including Hollywood.
Hollywood grew slowly until after 1945 when veterans returned home as part of a nationwide push for suburbanization.

Read reviews from our Patients and see why Complete Ketamine Solutions is a highly recommended Ketamine Infusion Therapy provider in Hollywood FL.
I've been taking Ketamine for a few months now and I feel so much better. My feet problems, including not being able to walk are much better. My feet are not perfect but they are much better. The at home treatment is the best. At night when my feet hurt it really helps to ease the pain. On another note, after I leave a treatment, the following day I can do everything I need to. My depression is low as well as my anxiety. It's amazing! The staff especially Phylis and Amanda and the folks up front are like family,. They go out their way to make the treatment relaxing and pleasant.
Give these guys a shot at helping you. I highly recommend them . - Matthew Gary

The staff at Complete Ketamine Solutions are absolutely the best. From the time I call for an appointment to walking in the office and then into the infusion room, I am always made to feel comfortable and safe. I trust them with my well being, and they have shown the greatest compassion for me. They have even worked me in a couple of times, for an urgent appointment, when they really didn't have to. Ketamine is a life saver for my daily chronic migraines!! I'm so thankful I took the chance and tried it. It's my new best friend. - Kathy You may have found us by searching for some other common categories:

Ketamine, a derivative of phencyclidine, is an anesthetic drug that was developed in 1962 and has been widely used in a variety of settings. Ketamine acts as an antagonist of the N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor and targets glutamate, which is an excitatory amino acid neurotransmitter.
Ketamine has been used to induce and maintain general anesthesia for more than 30 years and is on the World Health Organization’s List of Essential Medicines. Ketamine is FDA-approved as an anesthetic and has a remarkably safe track record in clinical settings. Ketamine is commonly used to treat Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), sometimes referred to as Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD).
Over the past two decades, researchers have consistently found that low doses of ketamine, administered intravenously (ketamine infusions), produce a rapid anti-depressant effect.
Scientists are still exploring the exact mechanism by which depression is relieved, but research suggests that by blocking the NMDA receptors, ketamine prompts the brain to increase the production of synaptic signaling proteins in the prefrontal cortex. The prefrontal cortex is the region of the brain thought to play a critical role in a person's ability to regulate his/her mood. Ketamine appears to promote the growth of new synapses in the prefrontal cortex, resulting in greater connectivity in the brain, while also switching certain connections on and off. This cascade of events is thought to be the reason for the rapid anti-depressant effect.
You haven't heard of ketamine for the treatment of refractory depression because the practice of using ketamine to treat depression is in its infancy. Ketamine is most commonly known as a general anesthetic, used in surgical procedures. You may know of ketamine as a rave drug, used recreationally since the 1980s. The utilization of ketamine to treat depression is not yet FDA-approved, as the FDA approval process can take many years, due to the amount of funding, research and time required. Fortunately, the research being conducted continues to demonstrate that ketamine is effective in treating depression, and the use of ketamine in this population is becoming increasingly common.
* NOTE: Ketamine IS an FDA-approved drug for anesthetic purposes and is on the World Health Organization's List of Essential Medications.
